Despite enjoying the past sports I have played I couldn’t say I loved them and participated more for the social aspect than anything. I couldn’t say the same for sprinting however. I have been a part of the FAST running group for a little over a year now and despite my lack of experience have loved every second of it. The group of cheerful yet determine runners is what allows me to enjoy that sport of athletics to the extent I do and realise the beauty of the 100m race. It was the support and training I received through the group that allowed me to not only make it to the All Schools Nationals last year but become a finalist in my race,m a major goal of mine throughout my schooling life. My fantastic first year in the world of sprinting has motivated me to fully dedicate myself to the sport, dropping both my winter and past time job to ensure an even more successful next season than last. I am looking to ensure another successful season in the beautiful sport of sprinting to make both my team and coach proud” Alumni Finalist Testimonials Ginninderra Athletics
