Behind every performance is a process
At FAST Running, we celebrate the progression of our athletes — from first competitions to national finals and beyond. These journeys reflect commitment, resilience and the structured development that defines the FAST pathway.
Charlotte Hun: From FAST for Sport to the AFLW Pathway
FAST Running has always believed that running excellence extends beyond the track.
Tonight, that belief was brought to life as Charlotte Hun completed her final training session with FAST before taking the next step in her sporting journey — acceptance into the AFL Women’s pathway with Geelong Cats, beginning with a VFL contract and the opportunity to train and live alongside senior AFLW athletes.

Brooklyn Montana: Building the Jump, Raising the Standard
Progress in the horizontal jumps is rarely linear. It’s built through rhythm, patience, and the ability to perform when it matters.
For Brooklyn Montana, the 2025-26 season has been about exactly that — turning strong foundations into national-level composure.
Flying Forward: Manuel, Lifelong Passion, and the FAST Masters Mindset
At FAST Running, we believe performance doesn’t belong to a single age group.
Neither does passion.
Recently, our community was reminded of this in a powerful and unexpected way — not on the track, but in the air — through Manuel, one of our FAST Masters athletes and an accomplished pilot.

Their Journey to FAST Running
ATHLETE PROFILE
Hugo Peat: Speed That Travels – From FAST for Sport to the Australian Raptors
For FAST for Sport member Hugo Peat, speed has always been more than a number on a stopwatch — it’s a competitive edge.
A talented rugby back, Hugo has been training with FAST for Sport with one clear objective: to get faster, move better, and become more effective on the field. That commitment has now translated into national recognition, with Hugo recently selected for the Australian Raptors Rugby Academy — one of just three players from the ACT to earn selection.
ATHLETE PROFILE
Sam Blood: From Overlooked to One of Australia’s Fastest
In April 2025, Sam Blood was still finding his feet as a developing sprinter. The raw talent was clear, but what followed over the next nine months would become one of the most remarkable progression stories within FAST Performance.
This is the story of an athlete who didn’t just improve — he transformed.
ATHLETE PROFILE

In April 2025, Tearia Teaiwa Mortimer lined up at the Australian Athletics Championships in Perth, representing herself, her family, and her squad in the 100m Hurdles. Competing against the best athletes in the nation, she delivered a strong performance that showcased not only her talent but her drive to grow at the elite level.

Daniel Nwaobi Selected for the Australian Olympic Change-Maker Summit
FAST Running is proud to announce that Daniel Nwaobi has been selected to take part in the Australian Olympic Change-Maker Program and will attend the National Summit in Canberra this Week — an honour recognising secondary-school students who embody the Olympic values of friendship, sportsmanship and striving for excellence both on and off the track.
Cecilia Ador: From Basketball Court to Breakout Star
Some athletes arrive with a plan.
Others arrive with curiosity.
When Cecilia Ador first stepped onto the grass at Charnwood Oval on 22 March 2025, her goal was simple: improve her running technique for basketball.

Matilda’s Journey: March to December — A Story of Courage, Curiosity and Joy
At FAST Running, we don’t measure success by results alone.
We measure it by growth, curiosity, resilience — and the courage to try something new.
Matilda’s journey from March to December this year is a perfect example of that philosophy in action.
