Summer Series: 26 October 2024 Canberra Running Coach, October 29, 2024October 29, 2024 The second Capital Athletics Summer Series was held at Woden Park this afternoon. The squad was well represented by members Calan, Tom, Lewin, Taylor and Sam. Taylor Johnson smashed his 100m PB and completed his first race with blocks in a time of 12.73s. In just his second race on the red track, Taylor obliterated his 400m PB to clock 57.68s. Taylor also jumped a Triple Jump PB of 10.43m. Calan Halos ran a great season starter of 12.01s in the 100m to just miss his PB by 0.02s. He followed up with a new PB in the 200m clocking 23.96s. Sam Ainsworth competed in his first summer series in the 100m running 14.54s. As the youngest competitor Sam stood apart from everyone else in the race. Lewin ran an outstanding 12.86s in the 100m to continue his blue vein of form in the sprints already this season. Lewin followed up with a PB in the 400m dipping under the magic minute barrier to stop the clock at 59.13s, a 1.5s improvement. Tom Madigan has again lowered his 400m PB this season as he.
