Jack Laurence trained with FAST as a promising athlete from Vanuatu until the end of 1997.

• 1997 IAAF World Championships: Open 100m 10.97s
• 1997 Mini South Pacific Games: Open 100m (7th) 11.26s, 4x100m (3rd)
• 1997 First Provincial Games: Open 100m 10.5h, 200m 22.5h
• 1997 Australian Athletics Championships: Open 100m 11.09s, 200m 22.03s
• 1996 Olympic Games: Open 200m 21.94s

Jack went on to represent Vanuatu in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur running the 100m (11.25s) and 200m (22.32s).
