Jeremy drops Championship qualifier Canberra Sprint Coach, November 30, 2017October 30, 2023 Today Jeremy Maranan ran a new personal best in the 100m Div A race at Athletics ACT Summer Series in Woden having already competed in the 100m Hurdles just moments earlier. Jeremy finished second overall in the 100m and his time of 11.29s was an Australian Junior Championships Automatic Qualifier. His time was not just second fastest but the 15 year old’s time was better than 33 others who competed including one of Australia’s all-time record holders in the event and as well the 2017 ACT Schools Champion by 0.63s. Jeremy can now focus on Australian All Schools Championships in Adelaide having now achieved a qualification for Nationals in the 100m.
