Jindabyne sprint sensation, Calan Hahlos, who ran a Season Best of 54.40s in the 400m at Junior Nationals in 2024, will set the local Capital Athletics competition alight this season. The Under 17 athlete enjoys the 100m (11.90s), 200m (24.08s) and 400m (53.53s) treble.
Calan is hoping to run sub 50s and he is well supported by his FAST Track team mates in that regard, with Mika, Vish, Tom, and Lewin all looking to put their own mark on the 400m in the year ahead. Starting next week with the ACT Secondary Schools Championships at the AIS.
