Barefoot benefits

FAST Running - Training

This week at FAST Running, we kicked off the transition phase with something a little different — barefoot (sock) drills.

Why?
Going shoeless helps us:

  • Build stronger feet and ankles
  • Feel the ground better = better sprint technique
  • Improve balance and body control
  • Fix lazy foot mechanics
  • Stay injury-free long term

It’s all about unlocking natural power and fine-tuning the small things that make a BIG difference on the track.

Always done on safe surfaces, and only a little at a time — because smart training = fast training.
