Lea learns one of track’s most dynamic events Canberra Running Coach, November 3, 2024November 6, 2024 Lea is embracing the challenge of hurdling, which combines speed, skill, and resilience as she takes on one of track’s most dynamic events. A rising teen athlete, she’s ready to push boundaries, stride by stride. Now in Lea’s second week of training for the 200m Hurdles, Lea is working with Canberra Sprint and Hurdles Coach, Steve Dodt, on the fundaments of hurdling. Lea has now prior experience in track and field, however she enjoys the athleticism and rhythmic nature of hurdling. Lea is not alone with Tearia and Mathias also taking up hurdles training this season. Everyone is already showing plenty of promise and enthusiasm for one of the sport’s most watched events.
