Olivia Jose: Multi-Talented Athlete and Club Record Breaker

FAST Running - Olivia Jose - Profile

FAST Running’s Olivia Jose is proving to be a force to be reckoned with—not just on the football field, but now on the track as well. The Under-15 sprint sensation made history over the weekend at the Capital Athletics Underage Championships, delivering a record-breaking performance in the 100m.

In her first-ever Capital Athletics appearance, Olivia shattered the 13-second barrier in her heat before returning for the final to lower her personal best once again. In doing so, she ran an unverified Ginninderra Athletics Club Record, marking an extraordinary milestone in her sprinting career.

Her rapid rise in athletics is nothing short of remarkable. Less than a year ago, Olivia was introduced to track and field after crossing paths with Coach Steve Dodt at the ACT Schools Championships. Fast forward to today, she has already:
✅ Represented the ACT at the Australian All Schools Championships in Brisbane
✅ Won her first Capital Athletics Gold Medal to go with her ACT Schools Gold
✅ Improved her 100m time by 0.5 seconds this season—and by 1.2 seconds since joining the FAST Running squad

Olivia’s journey embodies Running Excellence—combining raw talent, relentless work ethic, and top-tier coaching to push the limits of what’s possible. Her dedication to both football and athletics is an inspiration to young multi-sport athletes, proving that with the right training environment, success knows no boundaries.

Congratulations, Olivia! We can’t wait to see what’s next! 👏🔥
