FAST Running athletes showed grit, determination, and team spirit at the School Sport ACT Regional Cross Country Championships this week, with several outstanding performances across the age groups.
Leading the way was Chloe, who produced a brilliant run to take gold in the 14 Years Girls 4km race, winning the ASC Championship with composure and control from start to finish. Chloe’s victory highlights her growing strength over distance and her strong foundation built through both FAST Running and school-based preparation.
It wasn’t just Chloe flying the FAST flag. Several of our talented young runners from the FAST Kids program also delivered impressive performances to secure their places at the ACT Cross Country Championships on Thursday 13 June:
- Matilda (7th)
- Lucy (20th)
- Aria (12th)
- Izabella (15th)
- Blake (20th)
- Sophia (3rd)
- Ava (2nd)
- Tindra (2nd)
- Estrid (6th)
- Jaxon (9th)
- Arlo (1st)
- Lucinda (14th)
Each of these athletes ran with heart and focus, showcasing the FAST Running values of hard work, smart training, and a love of racing. We’re proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see what they produce at the ACT Championships in a fortnight’s time.
A huge thank you to the schools, families, and support crews who cheered on our athletes, and to the event organisers for a well-run competition.
Full results from all age groups are available now via the School Sport ACT website.
FAST Running continues to support junior and senior athletes across all disciplines – from sprints and hurdles to distance and cross country – with a focus on long-term development, fun, and performance.
