A Culture of Coaching Collaboration

This year’s ACT Team is one of the largest and most diverse in recent memory, and we’re proud that FAST coaches have played a role in shaping so many of these young athletes’ journeys.

From their first clinic sessions to school carnivals and squad training, the FAST Kids coaching team has focused on more than just performance — they’ve built confidence, coordination, and community.

“When we invest in kids, we invest in the future of our sport.
A learning culture is a supportive one. A high-performance culture is a safe one.”

At FAST, we lean in when others might say “not yet.” We believe every child deserves a place to learn, laugh, and grow — whether they’re taking their first sprint steps or wearing the ACT colours for the first time.

Building a Foundation for the Future

Behind every name on this list is a story of persistence, encouragement, and teamwork. From developing running technique and event skills to learning how to handle competition day nerves, these athletes represent everything FAST stands for — Running Excellence, Building Champions.

We also celebrate our dedicated coaches, who continue to make an enormous impact across Canberra — creating pathways, fostering confidence, and turning potential into performance.

Congratulations to all our young athletes and their families — your hard work and spirit embody what makes FAST Kids so special. 💛💙

See you in November, Team ACT!
