From 9-year-olds experiencing championship athletics through to athletes winning medals and producing personal bests, this was a great snapshot of what junior development looks like.

There are medals in that list, but there are also first championship experiences, finals, PBs, athletes trying different events, disappointments and plenty of lessons to take back to training.
That’s junior athletics.
A result tells us where an athlete is today — not where they will finish. Our job is to keep giving young athletes opportunities to learn, compete, enjoy the sport and discover what they might become.
