This past weekend was a standout for the squad, showcasing the depth of talent and dedication that defines our community. Sue Bourke’s Historic 14th Title Sue Bourke, one of FAST Running’s seasoned athletes, delivered a remarkable performance at the ACT Masters President’s Handicap 100m. With determination and precision, Sue crossed the finish line to claim her 14th title, adding another chapter to her storied career. Her consistency, resilience, and commitment to excellence inspire everyone at FAST Running. Congratulations, Sue, on this incredible achievement! FAST Kids Excel at the Capital Athletics Combined Events Championships The next generation of FAST Running stars made their mark at the 2024-25 Capital Athletics Combined Events Championships, held at the AIS Track. Competing in the highly demanding tetrathlon events, our FAST Kids athletes showcased their versatility and competitive spirit: Blake: A standout performance secured first place in his age group, highlighting his all-around athletic prowess. Maddy: Demonstrated grit and skill to achieve an impressive second place, narrowly missing the top spot. Sophia: Showcased great determination, finishing sixth in a strong field of competitors. These results reflect the hard work and dedication our young athletes bring to their training and competition. We’re proud to see them embodying the values of FAST Running: excellence, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Alumni Alumna: Natasha Martin March 14, 1997February 8, 2024 Natasha trained with FAST until the end of the 1996-97 season.
