2024 ACT Open and U20 Championships Canberra Sprint Coach, January 29, 2024 Over the weekend the lads from FAST Running had a solid hit out in the 100m at the ACT Championships. Mathias (12.1) did his 3rd fastest run all time (and he slipped at the start, was 0.12s off his PB), Nate (12.4) ran his fastest 100m since March 2022, and Josh (11.9) was just .02s off his PB. Nate (5.25m) also did an Australian qualifier in the Long Jump. On Sunday Nate (24.2) backed up in the 200m equaling his all time fastest time for the event. The time was also a negative split on his 100 performance from Saturday . The lads are running extremely well and their performances have not been impacted by their introduction to gym which they started in December. With the ACT under age championship (Juniors) coming up followed by Nationals there is still plenty of opportunity to run faster in the weeks ahead.
