Nick continues his hot streak Canberra Sprint Coach, March 10, 2024March 14, 2024 FAST Running sensation Nick Porter from Ginninderra Athletics Club has continued his red hot form since the ACT Junior Championships by again winning the 100m at the most recent Capital Athletics Summer Series at the AIS. The youngest competitor in his race, the 12-year old beat much more experienced and older athletes on his way to another respectable time into a head wind at Australia’s fastest track. Nick will now focus on the upcoming ACT Under 13 Track and Field Championships, where he hopes to run qualifying performances for inclusion in the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide this April. As the reigning ACT Under 14 100m and 200m Champion, Nick knows that the pressure is on to continue his career best form right through to the National Final.
