Ahmed starts FAST & Active Canberra Running Coach, October 15, 2024October 15, 2024 Ahmed has recently joined the FAST & Active program having spent a number of years since school finished trying a myriad of sports, including rowing, sailing, weight training and recreational running. Training with Canberra Running Coach, Steve Dodt, Ahmed is looking to pivot to shorter distance running (60m, 100m) in the lead up to the Australian Masters in 2026. Ahmed is in good company sharing the joys of training with his fellow FAST & Active members (pictured below). The transition to shorter distance is all about starting slow to get fast. The body needs to learn and adjust to the rigours of sprinting. The group training program caters for newbies like Ahmed as he is eased into training until his body can handle the load. If you’d like to know more about the different running programs please contact Steve for further information. FAST & Active News AdultsCanberraProfileRunning TrainingSprinting
