At the recent School Sport ACT Cross Country Championships, Sophia delivered a gutsy and composed run to finish third place in the girls’ 1500m, building on her impressive third placing at the Regional Championships just weeks earlier. It’s a result that speaks not only to her fitness, but to her resilience, maturity, and love of racing.
Sophia is a familiar face at FAST Kids training, where she’s guided by Rose, Tearia, and Steve. Week in, week out, she shows up with a positive attitude, ready to learn, ready to improve — and her consistency is now paying off in exciting ways.
Earlier this year, Sophia showed her versatility at the Capital Athletics Underage Championships, where she walked away with medals in the Race Walk, 800m, and the 60m Hurdles — a rare combination that highlights just how broad her athletic potential truly is.
