This weekend, three of FAST Running’s most inspiring athletes—John Lamb, David O’Keefe, and Scott Yates—are heading to Adelaide to represent Canberra at the Australian Masters Athletics Championships.
Each of them brings a different story, different goals, and a shared passion for competition, excellence, and lifelong athleticism.
John Lamb (M75) is a name well known in Australian Masters circles. A seasoned campaigner and proud FAST athlete, John isn’t just competing—he’s going after national records. With eyes on the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles, he’s also a strong contender for medals in the 400m and 800m, showcasing his incredible versatility across sprint and middle-distance events.
David O’Keefe (M60) may be a new face on the national stage, but he’s anything but new to hard work. This will be David’s first time competing at the Australian Masters level, and he’s heading into the weekend with high hopes for strong performances in the 300m hurdles, 400m, and 800m. His progression and commitment have been inspiring, and he’s ready to leave it all on the track.
Scott Yates (M55) is a dear friend of FAST and a passionate sprinter. With events in the 60m, 100m, and 200m, Scott is aiming for sprint glory—and we know he has the grit and the speed to deliver. His energy, humour, and commitment to the sport make him a beloved figure not just in our squad, but across the wider Masters community.
At FAST Running, we believe in Running Excellence for athletes of all ages and stages. Whether it’s chasing records, stepping up to new challenges, or simply striving for your personal best—John, David, and Scott are living proof that athletic achievement doesn’t have an expiry date.
We’re proud to support them every step, stride, and hurdle along the way.
Best of luck in Adelaide, legends! 🖤❤️💪
Your FAST family is cheering for you!
