The Road to an ACT Medal

FAST Running - Training

Every athlete remembers their first major medal.

Not because of the metal itself.

Because of what it represents.

An ACT medal reflects months or years of preparation coming together on a single day.

The medal is visible.

The work behind it is not.

At FAST Running, ACT medals are celebrated because they recognise achievement, commitment, and growth.

Some athletes earn medals in their first few seasons.

Others spend years learning, improving, and developing before stepping onto the podium.

Neither pathway is better.

Both require perseverance.

For athletes currently chasing an ACT medal, the goal is not to focus on the podium itself.

The goal is to become the athlete capable of standing there.

Because the performance always comes before the result.

And the process always comes before the performance.
