Thomas and Lewin set for National Stage Canberra Sprint Coach, March 31, 2024March 31, 2024 FAST Running is proud to announce that both Lewin Ainsworth (Gungahlin Little Athletics) and Thomas Madigan (Woden Athletics) have both been selected for the upcoming Australian Little Athletics and the Athletics Australia National Championships respectively. Lewin has been selected in the 400m, 800m, Discus and Long Jump events for ALAC. This follows his outstanding ACT Championships where he won a bronze medal in the U13B Long Jump final, and many personal bests including a 1:03.64 in the 400m final. Lewin is the reigning ACT U14 Discus Champion where he threw 23.57m in the final and won a silver in the 400m (1:06.34). Thomas has been selected in the 400m (58.39s) and the 200m Hurdles (32.54s). Thomas had a successful ACT Championships where he won gold and silver in both events respectively. Thomas has previously represented the ACT at the Australian All Schools Championships last December, where he ran the 400m (1:05) and was a member of the ACT 4x200m mixed relay team.
