FASTER Master Canberra Sprint Coach, December 9, 2023February 7, 2024 Brendan Pratt is no ordinary member of FAST Running, he’s the squad’s oldest sprinter and masters athlete. Brendan’s passion for running is the equal of any of his younger compatriots in FAST Track. His favourite training location is Canberra’s Hardest Hill Session at Yarralumla. In March 2022, Brendan competed for the first time in many years and his first as a Masters Athlete. Competing in ACT Masters Athletics Championships, Brendan won the 100m Gold Medal for the Mens 50 age final and had the best Age-Grading of all other finalists, all ages. His Age-Grading ranks him in the top 10 in Australia in the 100m (2022). Brendan has returned to training and looking forward to running freely again. If the body holds up and work permits, Brendan would love to compete again in 2024, and look towards the AMA National Championships (Adelaide, South Australia) in 2025.
