Vish celebrates the New Year with a personal best Canberra Sprint Coach, January 7, 2024February 7, 2024 Beginning the new year and the start of competition phase with a PB is worth a celebration. Vish who only recently returned to sprinting has been training (taking) the track apart under the watchful eye of Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt. Vish who in December, had just lowered his best time by over a second, has again improved his 400m time at the Capital Athletics Summer Series meet at Woden Park, clocking 58.01s. In what was personally difficult conditions for Vish, who had unfortunately become ill earlier in the day, fought off the illness and stunned himself with another personal milestone. With another strong showing, Vish is on track to reach his season goal of 56s for the 400m. For a young man at the start of October who was looking to consistently run sub 60s, his best performance is still ahead of him as the goal is now firmly in his sights!
