Transitioning to more regular training Canberra Sprint Coach, February 20, 2024 Sanjna has been training regularly with FAST Kids since December 2021. This week she has begun her transition to more regular sprint training with FAST Track. The change provides her with more sessions each week to improve her running, whilst consolidating what she’s learned previously, as she applies more complex training exercises and training sessions with the older children in the FAST Running squad. The program is tapered for Sanjna as she adjusts to the requirements of training. Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, oversees her transition personally. The feedback is directed at improving her technique and knowledge in order to improve her running performance. Sanja as the newest member of the FAST Females group has the opportunity to learn and be mentored from the older members of the group, especially as she is transitioning into from the group’s junior membership. The onset girls have all graduated themselves and are very supportive of new members joining the group. FAST Track News CanberraFAST FemalesProfileRunning TrainingSprinting
