Sophie adds zeal for running into her training Canberra Sprint Coach, September 17, 2024September 17, 2024 Building up your training load to incorporate sprinting is the first step for the newest FAST & Active member, Sophie. Under the careful guidance of Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, sessions are tailored to gently increase the capacity and the complexity as the body adjusts to running more quickly. In Sophie’s first week of training, she has been learning the fundamentals of warming up, technical drills to improving running form, and the importance of energy systems on performance. Sophie’s attention to detail will see her soon set the track ablaze and inspire us all.
