From Jerrabomberra to the National Stage
FAST Running is proud to celebrate one of our brightest young athletes, Lennox de Moura, who has been selected to represent the ACT at the Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC) in Adelaide this coming weekend!
Lennox is a current member of our FAST Track development program, and his recent performances speak volumes about his talent, work ethic, and all-round versatility. At the 2024 Capital Athletics Underage Championships, Lennox delivered a phenomenal all-event campaign in the Under 14 division, finishing:
🥉 Bronze – 100m, 200m, 800m, Shot Put
🥈 Silver – 1500m, 200m Hurdles
🥇 Gold – 400m, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump
🔟 10th – Javelin
That’s an incredible 10 events, with podium finishes in nine of them—a true testament to Lennox’s multi-event capabilities and competitive mindset.
💪 Dedication Beyond Borders
Living in Jerrabomberra, Lennox trains with FAST Running in Canberra but competes in the NSW Schools sports system, renowned as one of the most competitive in the country. From sprinting in spikes to soaring in jumps—and even taking on middle distance and throws—Lennox makes regular trips to Wollongong to represent his region.
And it doesn’t stop at athletics. Lennox is also an accomplished soccer player, balancing elite-level athletic development with his love for team sports. His calendar is full, but so is his passion.
🚀 FAST Track Future
At FAST Running, Lennox has embraced the FAST Track pathway, designed to nurture rising athletes with individualized coaching, biomechanical skill development, and exposure to a high-performance training environment. His willingness to learn, positive attitude, and determination to improve make him not just a standout athlete, but a role model for other juniors in the program.
We’re thrilled to see his hard work pay off with national selection—and we know this is just the beginning.

As Lennox prepares to compete in Adelaide at the Australian Little Athletics Championships, the entire FAST family is cheering him on. Representing the ACT on the national stage is a huge honour, and we couldn’t be prouder.
