Sprinting in the heart of Canberra Canberra Sprint Coach, April 28, 2024August 29, 2024 FAST Running trains in locations across Canberra. Among our favourites is Regatta Point which is only 5 minutes from the city centre, situated next to Lake Burley Griffin. This location has beautiful views of the Parliamentary Triangle and the Lake, including Parliament House. Most people running at Lake Burley Griffin do the 5 kilometre loop commonly referred to as the two bridges or Central Basin. Our middle distance runners enjoy running the lake whilst our shorter distance runners get more out of the power and passion of running hill repeats. Sessions at Regatta Point include hill sprints, cardio exercises, and agility training drills. FAST Running has been training at Regatta Point since 1995 in the heart of Canberra.
