Cross training Canberra Running Coach, November 24, 2023February 7, 2024 Running is the fundamental element of sport. Getting fit, learning to improve acceleration or hoping to hit top speed, training is essential in preparing the body for what is required. A FAST training plan takes into account your “training age” and may contain elements of Cross Training. The focus of such sessions is on the building blocks to running: core, strength, mobility, recovery and resilience. FAST’s Head Coach will show you how to do drills that isolate body parts so that you can direct energy and focus into the areas you need the most. He will develop a program that scaffolds your body into heavier running, making use of what you have around you, what training venues are specific to your training needs and giving you the time to adjust and learn new or reacquainted skills. The personal touch means you are never just a number. Programs are written to aide you in recovering from injury or surgery, returning to sport or improving your running action. They are also age specific and targeted at maximising your potential. For more information please Contact Us.
