FAST Running congratulates two of our outstanding young athletes, Olivia Jose and Grace York, who are proudly representing the ACT at the CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships this week in Sydney.
Held at Valentine Sports Park from 15–20 July 2025, the Emerging Matildas Championships is a premier national event bringing together the most talented U15 and U16 footballers from across Australia. It is a key part of Football Australia’s high-performance pathway, identifying and developing future stars of the game—and Olivia and Grace are right where they belong.
While this week shines a light on their football talent, both Olivia and Grace are already seasoned national representatives in track and field. Olivia has worn the ACT colours in the 100m, showcasing explosive pace and determination, while Grace has done the same in the 400m, demonstrating endurance, strength, and grit under pressure.
Their FAST training has helped them bring next-level speed, athleticism, and resilience to the football field—exactly what FAST for Sport is all about. Whether on the track or the pitch, Olivia and Grace are proof that great things happen when speed meets purpose.
