Sam eyeing return from injury Canberra Running Coach, October 11, 2023February 8, 2024 FAST Flyer, Sam Weatherspoon, is a committed footballer who knows the highs and lows of the “beautiful game”. Sam’s 2023 season has been hampered by an ankle injury that has him dreaming of his return to running training, the sooner the better. Sam had a stellar first season with FAST and is looking to build himself back into peak condition and speed before the resumption of the 2024 Football season. Before his latest football injury, Sam competed in Capital Athletics’ Summer Series, recording Personal Bests (PBs) in the 100m and the 200m.
