You can’t make an Omelette without breaking some eggs Canberra Sprint Coach, February 25, 2024February 25, 2024 Canberra’s hardest hill session has again proven it lives up to its motto with another gruelling day out for the sprinters from FAST Running. One-by-one, with Brendan and Nate the exceptions, came crashing to their knees at the end of the program, following what had been high quality uphill sprinting. The 400m squad led by Vishaal and Mathias, took on the full length of the newly resurfaced track, making their own mark on the infamous hill. Both lads enjoyed taking on cyclists for the entire length of their run, ensuring that the two wheeled warriors didn’t have it their own way. The 100-200m group with Australian Record-holder Nate and two time Australian bronze medalist Daniel, giving the cyclist their own form of grief, with daring sprints between the riders showing off their speed and agility over the last half of the hill. With the group getting a number of times praise for their athletic prowess. FAST & Active member Brendan took out the hardest session award, with a number of repeat runs up the hill with a mere walk back only recovery. Brendan certainly loves the punishment.
