Sizzling times at Nationals Canberra Sprint Coach, April 28, 2024August 29, 2024 FAST Running’s Lewin Atkinson and Nick Porter have saved their best to last, with four Personal Bests between them at the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide. Lewin competing in his first Nationals was outstanding in his 800m final as he improved his best time in the event by 25 seconds. He then backed this up in the 400m on the Sunday with a new PB of 1:03.35 whilst he carried a calf injury into the event. He finished 9th overall in the 400m. Nick started his campaign in the 200m and broke his PB to clock 26.78s. On Sunday he also bettered his 100m time stopping the clock in 12.85s, another PB. Nick finished 10th in the country on completion of the 100m. His hamstring giving him grief following his 5th place finish in the 4x100m Relay. Lewin and Nick are looking forward to returning for All Schools in December this year.
