Plyometrics and hurdle drills at the AIS Canberra Running Coach, August 3, 2024August 27, 2024 Plyometrics and hurdle jumps are a frequent component of training sessions with FAST Running. The elasticity and spring an athlete develops from this training improves their sprinting performance, leading to better acceleration and faster times. All members of FAST Running participate in these drills and hurdles are provided that suits everyone’s skill level and comport zone. This session typically takes place at the AIS however the hurdles fit neatly in the back of the FAST Running mobile so don’t be surprised to see the squad jumping around in Canberra somewhere near you.
