Lauren Fiddy – A Confident First Step
For Lauren Fiddy, this meet marked her first Summer Series appearance, and she made it count.
Competing in challenging conditions, Lauren recorded:
- 100 m – 14.14 s (PB)
- 200 m – 29.63 s (PB)
The performance continues a steady upward trajectory for the FAST Track athlete, confirming that her commitment across training and competition is translating to the track. A composed debut at Summer Series level and a strong platform to build from over the coming months.
Ellie B – Progressing Into the 400 m
Ellie B continued her transition toward the 400 m, producing another solid and controlled run:
- 400 m – 1:05.07
As Ellie adapts to the demands of the one-lap event, her consistency and growing confidence are clear. Each outing adds valuable experience as she develops the rhythm, endurance, and race awareness required for the longer sprint.
Thivain Ariyadasa – Back in Action After Nationals
Fresh from competing at the Australian Primary Schools Championships in late November, Thivain Ariyadasa returned to competition with a busy and impressive program across multiple events.
On the track:
- 200 m – 30.27 (PB)
- 800 m – 3:04.51
And in the field:
- Triple Jump – 8.97 m
- High Jump – 1.20 m
- Shot Put (2 kg) – 8.10 m (1st place – PB)
