Lewin lowers PB by half second in season opener Canberra Running Coach, August 4, 2024August 27, 2024 Lewin Ainsworth has gotten into the Olympic spirit with a mighty half second person best competing at the Capital Athletics Winter Series at the AIS on Sunday. Competing in both the 200m and the 400m, Lewin lowered his previous 200m PB from 28.18s to 27.66s, in his first competition since the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide. This performance was only just after his first 400m hit out for the season with a respectable 1:02.55, which is faster than his previous PB of 1:03.35 (by almost a 1s), and he finished fourth overall in all ages. Lewin who plays AFL and trains for athletics too, has had a wonderful winter preparation under the careful eye of Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt.
