Marijke to master Heptathlon in 2025 Canberra Running Coach, October 13, 2023February 7, 2024 Marijke’s return to the track following the birth of her son has been delayed until 2025 as she prepares herself not for the Heptathlon in 2024, but the birth of her second child in the first half of next year. Marijke who isn’t put off by the gruelling demands of the seven (7) event mixed discipline competition for Women, is looking forward to bouncing back and using a return to competing as added incentive post pregnancy. A statistician by day, Marijke isn’t counting down the days just yet, however she’s trained in the Australian Alps with the Canberra Bilbys Triathlon Club, and is looking forward to all the highlights that are in front of her over the coming year.
