Peter captures the poise of sprinting Canberra Running Coach, August 3, 2024August 3, 2024 Peter Madigan has shared the below photos of FAST Running’s latest squad training session at Governor-Generals. The team led by physiotherapist and Doctor-in-training Jaimi-Lee, multi sport athlete Georgia (netball, soccer and athletics), as well as soccer mad runners Nick and Tom, basketball ace Daniel, and dedicated 400m athlete Vish, the squad showed great speed against some locals. GGs is typically a race of man vs bike, however the cold must have scare dog the cyclists and so the squad improvised by running their sessions concurrently and racing one another instead. This made for some interesting performances especially as the 400m runners went up against the 100m sprinters in the final metres of the hill repeats.
