Sanjna – A Rising Star from FAST Kids to FAST Track

FAST Running - Sanjna - Profile

A year ago, Sanjna was one of the smiling faces in our FAST Kids program—quiet, focused, and always ready to learn. Today, the softly spoken 12-year-old is making her mark in our FAST Track program, confidently training alongside some of the ACT’s most exciting young sprinters.

Transitioning from foundational running drills to the competitive world of 200m, 400m, and middle-distance events, Sanjna has taken each step in stride—literally. She now trains regularly with FAST senior athletes like Tom, Chloe, Lewin, Vish, Mathias, and Brooklyn—a powerhouse group that continues to inspire and break records. For Sanjna, being part of these sessions is more than just running laps—it’s about learning from role models and pushing her own limits.

And push she has.

In just the past month, Sanjna’s progress has been exceptional. She:

  • Won her school’s Cross Country event, showcasing her endurance and grit.
  • Clocked 1:14 in the 400m at the Capital Athletics Underage Championships, placing her in the top 3 in the ACTfor her age group.

All this from an athlete who only a short time ago was finding her rhythm.

Outside the track, Sanjna also plays recreational tennis, and she’s noticed how her speed and fitness have improved through her running training. But what’s most exciting isn’t just the times or the trophies—it’s her growth in confidence. With each session, she stands a little taller, smiles a little wider, and believes a little more in what she’s capable of.

Sanjna is quickly becoming one of the brightest and happiest young prospects in our junior ranks. Her journey is just beginning, but it’s already clear—this is an athlete with heart, talent, and a future worth watching.

💛💙 Welcome to the FAST Track, Sanjna.
