Sprint Training Fuels Rugby Excellence Canberra Running Coach, December 31, 2024December 31, 2024 Darcy Miller At FAST Running, we believe that sprint training isn’t just for track athletes—it’s a skill that can elevate performance in every sport. Darcy Miller, a standout junior rugby union player, is proof of how speed and athleticism can transform the game. Darcy, an ACTJRU Under 14 Girls representative, has been unstoppable on the rugby field. In a recent match, she scored an incredible 12 tries, showcasing her exceptional speed, agility, and game sense. As a member of the Vikings Junior Rugby Union team, Darcy’s drive to improve led her to FAST for Sport, a program designed to enhance speed and performance for athletes across all disciplines. Since joining in September, Darcy’s commitment to sprint training has paid off. Her improved speed has made her one of the quickest junior rugby players in the ACT. With support from our coaching team and partners, Darcy recently laced up her first pair of running spikes—a milestone marking her progression in both rugby and athletics. FAST Running is proud to provide access to high-performance coaching that helps athletes like Darcy thrive in their primary sport while developing skills that benefit their overall athleticism. Sprint training isn’t just about the track; it’s about unlocking potential and achieving goals, no matter where they take you. We’re excited to see how Darcy continues to excel on and off the field. With her dedication and determination, the sky’s the limit! Are you ready to take your game to the next level? Join FAST for Sport and discover how sprint training can help you achieve your passion.
