Tess Palubiski — From Track to Chill and Eyes on Brisbane 2032

FAST Running - Tess Palubiski - Profile

At FAST Running we celebrate not only speed on the track, but the transfer of excellence into life and sport beyond athletics.

Tess Palubiski is a perfect example of how that philosophy plays out in real time.

Tess has been a regular presence with FAST for Sport — bringing her athleticism, commitment, and genuine hunger to every session. Built on a strong track foundation from her earlier years in Victoria, Tess transitioned into our high-performance environment with a clear purpose: to develop the speed, acceleration, repeat sprint ability and physical resilience that elite sport demands.

Her sprint and middle-distance background — from 100 m through 800 m — gave her a foundation of speed endurance and race craft that translates exceptionally well onto the hockey field. From thunderous acceleration to turn and cover, to sustained intensity across quarters, her athletic engine has become a genuine competitive weapon.

That transfer was made tangible in 2025 when Tess earned her place in the Canberra Chill squad for the Hockey One League, Australia’s national hockey competition. Playing as #24, Tess quickly became a regular contributor, using the speed and conditioning cultivated in Canberra’s high-performance setting to impact games at the national level.

Tess doesn’t train with us simply to be faster — she trains to be a more complete athlete. Through structured strength work, sprint mechanics, repeated acceleration sets, and disciplined recovery, her FAST training has consistently complemented her hockey development off the track. That’s exactly what the FAST for Sport program is designed to deliver: transferability of physical qualities into real-world sport outcomes.

But Tess’s aspirations reach even higher.

Her long-term goal is to represent Australia at the 2032 Olympic Games in hockey — the pinnacle of international sport. That target shapes her preparation every day. The combination of high-performance conditioning, tactical awareness in training, and consistent accountability is what keeps her on track toward that dream. Her trajectory is not accidental — it’s intentional.

We are immensely proud to support Tess as she continues to develop — on and off the field. Her journey highlights what FAST Running stands for: helping athletes from all backgrounds harness physical excellence in pursuit of their individual goals, whether that’s personal bests on the track, national competition in another sport, or a future on the Olympic stage.

Go Tess. Go Chill. Go FAST.
