Jack Laurence trained with FAST as a promising athlete from Vanuatu until the end of 1997. Jack went on to represent Vanuatu in the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur running the 100m (11.25s) and 200m (22.32s).

Natasha trained with FAST until the end of the 1996-97 season. At the Australian Junior Track & Field Championships of that year, Natasha became FAST’s first Australian Medalist, finishing in third (bronze) behind Rebecca Murphy and Sonia Britto. The squad competed at the Arafura Games, the Northern Territory Athletics Championships, the South Australian Athletics Championships, and the Australian Athletics Championships.
