Speed. Strength. Skill. And a finishing touch that leaves the competition behind.
That’s what Charlotte Hurn, a proud FAST for Sport athlete and standout forward for the Ainslie Tricolours First Grade Women in the ACTAFL, delivered last weekend—burning past defenders to kick the goal of the match and claiming Best on Ground honours. With 13 goals this season, Charlotte continues to shine as one of the competition’s most dynamic and dangerous players.
Charlotte’s ability to break lines and create impact moments comes from more than just talent—it’s been honed through FAST for Sport, the specialist stream of FAST Running that supports athletes to build speed, strength, and explosive agility tailored for game-day performance.
And she’s not alone.
Across a wide range of sports, FAST for Sport athletes are making headlines and achieving new levels of excellence:
- Olivia Jose and Grace York are currently representing the ACT at the CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships, bringing FAST-developed sprint power to national football after previously donning ACT colours in the 100m and 400m on the athletics track.
- Tearia Teaiwa Mortimer is currently representing the ACT on an international stage through the Complete Athlete Pathway. Tearia is heading to the United States for a high-stakes basketball tour, showcasing her skills in front of NCAA scouts and recruiters. She’ll compete against elite teams such as the Tennessee Hurricanes and Team Pride at the Run 4 Roses Tournament in Louisville on July 10, before heading to the world-renowned Nike Tournament of Champions in Chicago from July 18–21, 2025.
- Oliver Henderson, a long-time FAST athlete, is leading the Australian U18 American Football team as Captain this weekend at the Festival of Football on the Gold Coast. His explosive pace and strength—developed through years with FAST—are cornerstones of his game.
- And trailblazers like Ava Piazza continue to show how FAST for Sport bridges codes, helping athletes rise in their chosen sports through a foundation of elite speed and movement mechanics.
At FAST Running, we believe that running excellence isn’t just for the track—it’s for the field, the court, the pitch, and the game. FAST for Sport helps athletes unlock their potential by giving them the tools to move better, react faster, and perform stronger under pressure.
Congratulations Charlotte—and to all our FAST for Sport athletes who continue to raise the bar. This is what Running Excellence looks like in action.
