Togetherness, Food, and Fun Canberra Running Coach, December 15, 2024January 21, 2025 FAST Running Community: At FAST Running, we know that building a strong community off the track is just as important as achieving excellence on it. On 14 December, the FAST Running family came together for a special evening filled with camaraderie, delicious food, and unforgettable memories. A Taste of India Hosted at Mathias’ place, the evening kicked off with an authentic Indian meal that brought everyone together around the table. The rich flavors, spices, and variety of dishes created the perfect backdrop for lively conversations and laughter as teammates, coaches, and families bonded over their shared love of food and sport. Laughter and Friendly Competition After the meal, the FAST Running crew hit the court for a friendly game of basketball. The atmosphere was electric as everyone, from sprinters to coaches, showcased their skills (or just their enthusiasm!) on the court. It was a lighthearted reminder that while we excel on the track, we also know how to have fun as a team. Building Connections Beyond Training Events like this are what make FAST Running more than just a squad—we’re a community. These moments of connection and shared joy strengthen the bonds between our members, creating an environment where everyone feels supported, inspired, and part of something bigger than themselves. Looking Ahead As we head into the new year, we’re reminded of how important these gatherings are for fostering the unity and spirit that drives us forward. Thank you to Mathias for opening your home and to everyone who joined us for a night to remember. Here’s to many more meals, games, and laughs as we continue to chase Running Excellence together! Stay tuned for more community events and updates from FAST Running—we’re just getting started! Community News BelconnenWellbeing
