Sprinting is taking off Canberra Sprint Coach, June 2, 2024August 29, 2024 On the rolling hills of Stromlo Forest Park, the squad of FAST Running have discovered this weekend that sprinting is really taking off. Aided by a monstrous cross wind, Sunday’s session with the parachutes had the athletes fighting the breeze as they took off down the straight. The wind also played havoc in the 1000m hill sprint repeats for the 800m crew as they battled their way through the undulating 500m course. The local kangaroos were quite amused by all the coming and goings of FAST Running as they laid in the sun. FAST Kids bounded their way up the hill as they looked for greater advantage in their next cross country and athletics carnival. Building power will increase their acceleration as they take off against their rivals. For more information or to join our squad please contact us.
