On Saturday and Sunday mornings FAST Running take to the streets of Canberra looking for a challenge. This morning it was Canberra’s hardest hill session that FAST Kids attempted for the first time.
The under 12s were told stories of racing cyclists up-hill and winning, but it wasn’t long before they had their first chance to put their foot down and sprint past some unsuspecting bike riders.
Not to be outdone, the older members of FAST Running also did hill repeats at Governor-General’s to bring their week of training to an end. They left nothing in the tank and showed a clean pair of heels to any cyclists who ventured up the hill at the same time as the squad did.
If you are looking for a challenge in your training please contact Canberra Sprint and Running Coach, Steve Dodt.
