Captured through the trees by photographer Peter Madigan, a recent photo shows the FAST squad winding down after a strong session — relaxed, reflective, and together. At the centre of the image, framed by Black Mountain in the background and the hum of post-session energy, something quietly powerful is happening.
At the bench, Tearia sits with the Believe Journal open in her hands — pausing, writing, thinking.
There are now three entries in the journal.
Only a few athletes have seen it. Fewer still have written in it.
And yet… word is starting to spread.
Daniel has asked. A few others are beginning to wonder: What is it? Who writes in it? How do you get to add your voice?
The Believe Journal isn’t something we hand out. It’s not a rulebook, or a training diary, or a list of PBs.
It’s something more.
It lives at the track — sometimes passed around, sometimes left quietly beside a bag.
It’s a space for insight, for reflection, for belief — and for those moments that don’t get captured by a stopwatch.
Want to know more?
You might just have to find it first.
