Three minutes with Georgia Canberra Sprint Coach, February 22, 2024February 22, 2024 The next interview in our athlete profiles is with Georgia Reilly. We heard earlier from Sophie Porter in how FAST for Sport training has improved her speed, fitness and confidence. Georgia plays Netball and Football. Recently her coaches and team mates have noticed her transition over the summer into one of the fastest members of both teams. Georgia credits FAST Running for the performance boost, adding that the sprint training complimented her other sports, and that she learnt a lot about speed development and body mechanics, which are the essential ingredients to running faster. For others in team sports, Georgia recommends they try FAST for Sport as it has helped her to get quicker. She now would like to test her speed out on the track as well and see how well it would translate over 100m. The recent ACT Junior Championships if any indication, would have seen Georgia make the final and possibly been on the podium. That is the goal for next summer!
