FAST’s 400m All Schools Finalists 2015 Canberra Running Coach, December 5, 2015October 15, 2024 Some great results from Day 1 of the All Schools Championships in Melbourne today. Two out of three squad members competing in the 400m are through to their respective finals. Matt Walters finished second in his heat clocking 50.39 (just outside his PB) and made his way into the final. Joshua Beale took a second off his PB today in the 400m running 53.00 in coming 2nd in his heat and also advancing to the final as an automatic qualifier. Mitch Foster came fifth in his heat running a Season Best 59.17s and now officially the fastest U14B in the state. Unfortunately Lucy Ferry succumbed to her hamstring strain and elected to pull out to see if she could be ready for the 4x400m Relay on the weekend.
