Siena starts sprinting season Canberra Sprint Coach, September 19, 2024September 20, 2024 The latest Capital Athletics Winter High Noon meet at Woden Park saw the welcome return to competition to National 100m finalist, Siena Towndrow. The Woden Athletics sprinter was competing for the first time in 2024-25 in the Women’s 100m. Siena was looking to dust off the cobwebs before the ACT Secondary Schools Championships next week. In a very tight there way battle, racing into a monstrous 2.3m/s headwind, Siena ran 12.80s which is a great time for the first run of the year. The FAST Females Sprinter then backed up to clock 27.06s in another tight finish with her older competitor, again in a -2.8m/s wind. Siena’s next race is at the AIS with her FAST Track team mates on Tuesday. News Performance FAST FemalesResultsSouth CanberraSprintingTeensWoden Athletics
