Dom’s on track for UniSport Nationals Canberra Running Coach, October 22, 2024October 22, 2024 Every year the pinnacle of track and field competition of uni life is the UniSport National Track and Field Championships, which in 2025 is being held in Brisbane. FAST Track athlete Dom Kelly is keen to represent the Australian National University (ANU) at the 2025 event. Dom who has previously represented the ACT at All Schools in the 100m and 200m is looking towards UniSport as a goal. Hoping to join Dom in Brisbane will be University of Canberra duo and FAST Performance members Nate Halpin [T01 (Deaf)] and Rose Catejan, both looking to compete in the 100m and 200m sprints respectively. So does Mika Pelijo who will be representing the University of Wollongong (UoW) in the 400m. Another of the squad’s athletes, Jaimi-Lee Summers in her last year of tertiary study at Sydney University may enter the 800m as her pathway to the World University Games to be held in Germany in 2025.
