FAST Running Athletes Set New Club Records Canberra Sprint Coach, February 3, 2025February 4, 2025 FAST Running athletes have been making waves on the track, with Tom Madigan, Siena Towndrow, and Daniel Nwaobi all rewriting the record books at their respective clubs. Tom Madigan delivered an outstanding performance at the recent Capital Athletics Summer Series competition, setting new club records for Woden Thunder in both the U15 400m (53.87s) and 800m (2:08.80). His achievements are awaiting official verification, but his times stand as a testament to his dedication and hard work. Siena Towndrow has already had her blistering 12.34s run in the U18 100m verified as a new club record for Woden Thunder Athletics Club. Her speed and consistency continue to set her apart as one of the top young sprinters in the region. This is her third club record in the 100m. Daniel Nwaobi has been in exceptional form, breaking the U16 100m (11.29s) and 200m (22.51s) records at Ginninderra Athletics Club. Like Tom, his marks from the All Schools competition are currently pending verification, but his performances have undoubtedly made an impact. These incredible results highlight the strength of FAST Running’s athletes and their relentless pursuit of excellence.
